PC World – Imagine playing what looks like an Xbox 360 game — on a $100 cell phone. That, according to Remi Pedersen, graphics product manager at ARM, is exactly what could be possible as soon as winter 2009 with its new higher-end Mali-200 and Mali-400 processors.

Video games continue strong sales in february (newsfactor)

NewsFactor – The video-game industry is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise grim economic environment. According to figures compiled by market research firm NPD Group, sales of games and hardware were 10 percent higher in February compared to a year before, bringing in a robust $1.47 billion in revenue.

PC World – Video games may not be recession-proof, but they’re sporting some enviable economic kevlar. Gloomy economics notwithstanding, NPD Group’s February 2009 game sales figures are coming up roses for Nintendo, Microsoft, and â?? that’s right â?? even Sony.
