PC World – Want to improve your eyesight? Fire up your gaming machine and start shooting the bad guys in action-packed video games. That’s right, those grotesque, gratuitous, and gory shooter games may be an excellent tool for improving eyesight. The conclusion comes from a study published in the journal Nature Neuroscience, and was conducted by the University of Rochester.

Utah governor vetoes video game bill (macworld.com)
Macworld.com – Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (R) has vetoed HB353, a bill in Utah that proponents had hoped would impose fines upon retailers who sold children violent video games. Announcing the veto in a letter sent to Utahâ??s speaker of the House and Senate president, Huntsman said the bill would likely face stiff constitutional opposition, were it passed into law.
